Thank you so much for supporting Sketchers Book Bindery!

Every book I send out is handmade with care, and I want to be sure it reaches you just as smoothly as it left my studio. Below you’ll find all the details about processing times, shipping, costs, and tariffs/duties.

All of my books are made to order. At the moment, my processing time is around six weeks — this allows me to give each book the attention, detail, and love it deserves before it makes its way to you.

Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of each parcel. A single book will cost less to send than a complete set. Once your order has been shipped, delivery usually takes 5–20 business days depending on where you are in the world.

A quick note on shipping:
You may notice that shipping prices are a little higher than before. That’s because I now ship my rebinds via DHL Express. While this costs a bit more, it means your books travel faster, with fewer delays, and full tracking from the moment they leave me until they reach you.

Bookmarks, however, are shipped via NZ Post. This keeps shipping costs reasonable, as using DHL for such small items would be far more expensive than the product itself.

This setup ensures every order—big or small—arrives safely and reliably.

Customs, VAT, and Import Duties

Customs fees, import duties, tariffs, and VAT may apply in your country. These charges are typically not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient—except for our customers in the United States. For U.S. orders, all applicable tariffs are calculated and collected at checkout, so we handle the payment on your behalf, making the process seamless and stress-free.

We are able to offer this smooth service for U.S. orders because we ship via DHL Express, which ensures fast, reliable delivery and full tracking.

Lost or Delayed Packages

I carefully package all orders, but once an order leaves my library, shipping delays are beyond my control. If your package does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact me, and I will do my best to assist.
