Punk 57 — Anniversary Edition Rebind
A collaborative design by Penelope Douglas and Sketchers Book Bindery.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a preorder. Production will not begin until January 2027. Please read the preorder and production information below before placing your order.
Inspired by the original cover and the beautiful teenage messiness of Punk 57, this anniversary edition combines some of my favourite elements of the original design with a few details inspired by the story itself.
Silver metallic foil is layered with blue-to-purple chameleon foil, alongside sheet music motifs and a spray-painted title. The spray-painted fore edge features a functional magnetic wax seal clasp (and yes, it actually opens!).
The chameleon foil is one of my favourite parts of this rebind, so be sure to watch the product video to see it shift between colours!

Customisation & Design Details
Cover colours: This design will remain exclusive to the colour combination shown in the product photographs: black faux leather, silver foil, and blue-to-purple chameleon foil.
Sprayed edges: Sprayed edges are available as an optional add-on. This element is outsourced, so please ensure you select the add-on if you would like it included with your rebind.
Wax seal clasp: Wax seals will feature a combination of blue, purple, and black. Some may incorporate multiple colours, and each seal will be unique. Your wax seal colour combination will be a surprise!
Back cover: Each rebind will feature the following quote:
“Alone, empty, shame, fear. Close your eyes, there's nothing to see out here.”
Spine numbering: These rebinds will not be individually numbered. Numbered editions are exclusive to the Punk 57 anniversary giveaway hosted by Penelope Douglas.
A Note on Handmade Pieces
Each book is hand-bound with care in my tiny-home library in New Zealand. As with any handcrafted piece, small variations and imperfections may occur. These are a natural part of the handmade process and make each rebind unique.
