The "Damages" in the two black rebinds are purely cosmetic and will not affect the durability or readability of these rebinds. The outside covers show no obvious imperfections.
Damage details (black rebinds): Yellow ink imperfections on the endpapers. This happened due to a reaction between the glue, mull, ink and paper. Who knew? Luckily, there's an easy fix, and all subsequent rebinds won't suffer from my silly learning lesson. These books are otherwise perfect.
Damage details (brown rebind): Thumbprint on the back endpaper and slight melting to the foil. The faux leather has an unusual coating that prevents the foil from adhering as securely as it normally would, so I cannot guarantee its long-term durability. There are no visible faults on the covers themselves, but the melting has affected the overall crispness of the design.
